Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Serves: 1 dozen muffins
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and sugar in a medium bowl.
  3. In another large bowl whisk egg, butter, and cinnamon. Stir in mashed bananas. Stir in dry ingredients and add chocolate chips. Stir to combine. Divide among 12 muffin cups. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden and a knife inserted removes clean. Devour!
